It’s two days before Christmas and all is quiet in my house. Literally. I’m the only one at home—it’s definitely the calm before the hurricane. My ‘wayward’ one and his darling wife arrive tomorrow—I can’t wait. Sooooo excited.
For the first time in many years, my three sons, my wonderful daughter-in-law, the youngun’s girlfriend, not one, but two doggies (Kush and Zooey),and my Viking and I will all be under one roof for Christmas Eve. Heck, I’m tearing up just thinking about having everyone here.
All the presents are wrapped, the stockings stuffed(including the doggies’), my menus for Christmas breakfast and dinner prepared, and I’m enjoying my tiny slice of solitude. So, I’m going to bingewatch all the new Viking episodes and drool over hunky Travis Fimmel.
I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy, healthy, and joyous holiday—be it Hanukkah or Christmas. To all my readers, thank you for your wonderful support. Without you I wouldn’t be starting a new Viking story—Wùlfe—and continuing to write the first book in my new Sanctuary series, Sheathe.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
